Located in the heart of Fresno’s Cultural Arts District, 1821 Gallery & Studios features a range of original work, from painting and sculpture to works on paper and photography.
Established in the spring of 2012, the Gallery was constructed using primarily re-purposed materials within a re-imagined industrial building originally built in 1947. While keeping true to the character of the structure, founder and owner Bruce Kalkowski transformed the space into an immaculate commercial gallery flanked by four working studios and a side gallery displaying works for sale by artists who have previously shown in the gallery.
The Gallery cultivates an atmosphere of excellence and provides an exceptional art collecting experience for its clients.
1821 is a fine arts gallery and the studio space for artists: Bibi Bielat, Elaine Callahan, and Daniel VanGerpen
