The 45th annual Danzantes Unidos Festival DUF 2024
“SEGUIMOS ADELANTE” returns to Fresno March 22-24, 2024 at McLane High School. The festival
highlights Mexican culture through dance and music while reconnecting more than 1000 dancers from
across the U.S. and Mexico.
DUF 2024 will feature a variety of dance and cultural-based activities for dancers, maestros and the
community, including:
Evening Showcase Concert series: Over 500 performers from more than 30 dance companies from
across the United States will showcase their best choreographies at one of DUF’s Showcase
Concerts on Fri., Mar. 22 from 6:00-8:30 p.m and Sat., Mar. 23 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at Warnors
Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets for general seating cost $30 and can be purchased at the
door. In addition, on Saturday, March 23, DUF 2024 will welcome DUF Newbies at the McLane HS
Quad Stage from 12:00-1:00 p.m. and is free to the public.
A two-day marketplace: Attendees can shop for cultural, arts, and dance-related items and food at
DUF’s Mercado on Mar. 22-23 at McLane High School.
Over 50 dance workshops: Over 1250 dancers of all ages and skill levels will learn the dances,
music, and history of a selected region from renowned maestros at one of DUF’s workshops on Mar.
22-23 at McLane High School. Concluding the three-day event, participants will perform a dance they
have learned in front of their families, friends, and the local community at the DUF Recital on Mar. 24
from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
DUF Parent Pavilion will offer free programming to parents, chaperones and extended family of
participants that are attending the festival. Throughout the course of the weekend, they can attend
seminars, lectures and fun interactive activities, addressing topics such as: Cultural Advocacy in
Schools with Cultural Artivist, Ron Muriera, Master Lectures in Folklorico with DUF Maestros,
Promoting Literacy at Home with children’s book author, Maia Gonzalez, Folklorico Bingo, and Mural
Painting in the Quad with Bakersfield Artist, Muriel Ramos.
