Steve Norton presents Origins—Art Inspired by Physics and
Cosmology, a new exhibition opening May 7 at Fig Tree Gallery.
The series explores the layered structures of reality through imagery inspired
by cosmology and particle physics. Reflecting contemporary theories that
suggest additional dimensions beyond our familiar three-dimensional space
and time, the work examines the origins and interconnectedness of matter,
form, and perception. Through a range of visual approaches—from hyper-
realistic and illustrative to painterly and expressionistic—Origins invites
viewers to contemplate the complex relationship between scientific discovery and human experience.
