About Breaking the Chains:

Our beneficiary this year Breaking the Chains was founded in 2014 to provide hope, healing, and restoration to survivors of human trafficking. Breaking the Chains is a program that was developed in direct response to the growing number of young people who are the victims of human trafficking. The number of human trafficking cases in the Central Valley is growing exponentially. The victims of human trafficking are predominately young girls and women who are being sexually exploited. BTC provides food, emergency shelter, education, job readiness/preparation, job placement, transitional care, long term housing (2 years at a safe house), comprehensive care management, addiction counseling, trauma therapy, equine therapy, art therapy, group therapy, relocation services, legal support, court advocacy, and emergency fund assistance to minor and adult human trafficking victims.
