oin Fresno Ideaworks for Makerfest on Broadway, a community fundraiser celebrating art, creativity, and hands-on making in the heart of downtown Fresno. Held at Fresno Ideaworks’ historic home in the former Crown Plunge building, Makerfest will feature local artists and makers, interactive maker stations, food and drinks, raffles, and a community art auction. Fresno Ideaworks is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit makerspace dedicated to providing affordable access to tools, workshops, and creative education in woodworking, welding, ceramics, textiles, glass arts, technology, and more.
This year’s fundraiser supports critical roof repairs and preservation efforts following recent winter storm damage, helping ensure the space remains safe and accessible for the Central Valley community. Funds raised will directly support continued hands-on classes, open shop nights, educational programming, and community collaboration opportunities for makers of all skill levels.
