This year marks the 94th anniversary of the armistice that was declared between Germany and the allied nations in World War I on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 and recognized the following year as “Armistice Day” later to become known as “Veterans Day.”  We recognize the full gravity of the sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform by honoring them with the largest parade outside of New York.  We are broadcast live by KSEE 24 NBC affiliate and via satellite on the Pentagon Channel.  Reaching millions of viewers whether it’s in homes across the country or even on military bases or ships across the world, our inspiring and enormous display honoring past present and future veterans is quite a sight to behold.  Each year the parade grows exponentially in size, notoriety and quality.
