Fresno's historic Amtrak DepotFresno's bus service, the Fresno Area Express (FAX), is focused in Downtown Fresno with a convenient "transit mall" hub at Courthouse Park. Routes extend from this hub to all corners of the metropolitan area. Direct service is available to such destinations as CSU Fresno and the Fresno Yosemite International Airport. Several of these routes provide service at convenient 15-minute intervals. Buses are air-conditioned and accessible to the disabled, and provide racks for bicycles. Newspapers can purchased on-board at a discounted price. Discounted fares are available for seniors and the disabled.

In addition to citywide service, FAX operates a free Downtown trolley between 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays.  The trolleys run on a Downtown loop at 10-minute intervals.

Shuttlebugz PedicabThe rest of California is at your doorstep with the convenience of Amtrak service at Downtown's restored Santa Fe Depot, a building listed on the national register of historic places.
