Cesar Chavez Adult SchoolThe Downtown area is served by three Fresno Unified School District high schools, one middle school, and five elementary schools.  You can find school boundaries here.

In addition, several charter schools operate in the Downtown area.

The Fresno County Economic Opportunities Commission operates the School of Unlimited Learning, a public charter school providing innovative educational strategies targeting high risk students in grades 7-12.  The school can be reached at 2336 Calaveras, Fresno, CA 93721, or (559) 498-8543.

The Agape Corporation operates the W.E.B. DuBois Charter School for grades 9-12, providing site-based instruction, independent study, technology emphasis, vocational training, and traditional curriculum. The school can be reached at 1313 P Street, Suite 205, Fresno, CA93721, or (559) 486-1166.

Downtown Fresno provides among the Valley's best amenities forlifelong learning.  The Fresno Adult School, located at Downtown's César E. Chávez Adult Education Center (on the site of California's first junior college), offers a broad array of high school diploma/GED, English language, independent study, and community education programs.

Fresno Area Express bus route 28, originating in Downtown Fresno, also provides direct service to regional educational facilities such as California State University, Fresno, Fresno City College,and Fresno Pacific University.
