Take a stroll down the Fulton Mall and enjoy some of the Valley's finest farm fresh produce and agricultural goods, straight from local growers and producers with the "Market on the Mall" Fulton Mall Farmers Market. The Market is located on the Fulton Mall at Mariposa, and is held every Wednesday from 10:00 AM till 2:00 PM year round. The Friday market will return in March 2010 with the start of Spring. The Market's central location and midday time make it convenient for thousands of Downtown workers, jurors, hotel guests, FAX bus riders, and EOC voucher clients.

The "Market on the Mall" is a cooperative venture between the Fresno County EOC, the Downtown Association of Fresno and the City of Fresno. It celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday May 13th 2009 with remarks from Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin.

"The Market on the Mall is a great example of combining resources creatively to serve a range of needs in our community," said Mayor Swearengin.  "I am proud to see that our Valley's agricultural heritage is playing a role in the revitalization of downtown Fresno."

WIC & EBT Now Accepted

The WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is associated with the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, popularly known as WIC. The WIC Program provides supplemental foods, health care referrals and nutrition education at no cost to low-income pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding post-partum women, and to infants and children up to 5 years of age, who are found to be at nutritional risk. The FMNP was established by Congress in 1992, to provide fresh, unprepared, locally grown fruits and vegetables to WIC participants, and to expand the awareness, use of and sales at farmers’ markets.

Parking Information:

Convenient parking for the Market on the Mall is available at several downtown garages, as well as at parking meters.

Parking Meters: Meters are available throughout Downtown Fresno and cost 60 cents per hour.

Parking Garage 4 - Tulare Street & Fulton Mall - Located across Tulare Street from Chukcansi Park, the entrance to the garage is on Tulare Street. The north end of the garage is just steps from the Market on the Mall. Rate: $3.00 for the first hour, $1.00 per additional hour
Parking Garage 8 - Van Ness & Tulare Street (The Underground Garage) - Located beneath Van Ness Avenue, this garage offers convenient access to both Courthouse Park and the Fulton Mall. Enter at Van Ness and Tulare, and take the Mariposa Mall pedestrian exit to reach the Market On the Mall.
