Property Owners Launch Petition Drive to form Downtown PBID

 

Thursday, October 8, marks the date that property owners in Downtown Fresno will launch the petition drive that is one of the final steps in forming a PBID (property-based business improvement district). The event is being held in the Bankers Ballroom at 1060 Fulton (former Security Bank Building) at 10:00 a.m.

Speakers will include Mayor Ashley Swearengin, Michael Ault (Executive Director of the Downtown Sacramento Partnership), William Martin (president of the PBID board, Visalia), Bob Link (Visalia business and property owner and member of Visalia's PBID steering committee when it  formed in 1998) and local property owners. Included will be presentations by two consultants who have been working with the property owners to form the Downtown PBID. They are Brad Segal, Progressive Urban Management Associates (PUMA) and Kristin. PUMA is the consulting group that has been assisting property owners in the PBID formation process.
