The State of Downtown Breakfast is an annual event that provides an overview of the revitalization efforts as well as an update on the Downtown Fresno Partnership. This is the best way to stay informed with what is happening downtown and what is coming soon.
Our keynote speaker for 2013 was Henry Beer. Beer is a Boulder resident who was part of the design team for the Pearl Street Mall. Beer was a founding partner of Communication Arts, Inc., a design firm located in Downtown Boulder. In 2010 the firm was acquired by Canadian firm Stantec and Beer continues to be a Principal. He has worked on projects around the globe and brings a broad knowledge of planning, design, urban environments, retail spaces and more. Beer grew up in California and spent summers in Fresno.
