Economic & Environment Enhancement Committee

Economic growth is the primary focus of this committee, providing strong merchant support, a business directory and dining guide, facilitation and funding of highway signage, maintenance and expansion of information directories, advocacy for effective parking management, as well as supporting city efforts to maintain a clean and safe Downtown Fresno and Historic Fulton Mall.

Environmental efforts of this committee focuses on urban beautification, including tree and flower planting, landscape maintenance, art and sculpture maintenance and restoration, storefront improvements, banners and business signage, mall services and cleaning as well as any relevant safety issues. The Environmental Enhancement committee seeks to improve the physical appearance of Downtown Fresno and the Historic Fulton Mall.

Marketing & Business Development Committee

Business development is supported by our producing exciting events that bring new people to Downtown Fresno and the Historic Fulton Mall and raise money to support other PBID Partners of Downtown Fresno activities. Events include the State of Downtown Breakfast, Sudz in the City, Cinco de Mayo, The Fresno Chile Festival, El Grito, Fiestas Patrias, RevFest, ArtHop, Halloween Happens Downtown and Winter Wonderland.

Marketing efforts include reponsibility and sustained efforts to improve the public image of the Historic Fulton Mall and Downtown Fresno, Marketing covers a comprehensive and ongoing Downtown branding campaign, small-scale events such as the successful Market on the Mall, business promotions like Restaurant of the Week and oversight of PBID Partners of Downtown Fresno newsletters, website, press outreach and social networking.
