Arte Americas, Fresno's Latino cultural center, presents another season of its acclaimed "Nights In the Plaza" Friday night outdoor concert series this June, August and September in Downtown Fresno. The concerts feature music ranging from traditional cumbia and mariachi to contemporary Latin sounds, with top talent from the Valley and beyond. The concerts take place in the lushly landscaped plaza at Arte Americas, at 1630 Van Ness Avenue at Calaveras in Downtown Fresno's Cultural Arts District. The doors open at 7:00 PM. Concerts run from 8:30 PM till 10:30 PM. Tickets range from $10 to $25. More information is available by calling Arte Americas at (559) 266-2623.

June 19: TRIO LOS PANCHOS Returning after four sold-out concerts in our Plaza, the legendary Trio Los Panchos, under the direction of Gabriel Vargas Aguilar, sing the best –known boleros and pan-Latin repertoire that includes Argentinean tangos and Colombian Cumbias.
June 26: MARIACHI TENOCHTITLAN and RICARDITO PAZ Fresno’s premier mariachi group, El Mariachi Tenochtitlan, is one of the few groups in theValley to include a harp in their repertoire. Ricardito Paz, the ten-year old singing sensation who won a national competition on Univision;s Sabado Gigante right after his last performance at Arte Americas, is also featured on this program.
