The South Stadium Project is an ambitious mixed use development proposed by Forest City Residential West for some 16 city blocks in the area generally to the south of Chukchansi Park. When completed, the development will include a mix of 700 residential units, as well as commercial and retail space. The project's general boundaries are Tulare Street on the north, Van Ness Avenue on the east, State Route 41 on the south and the Southern Pacific Railroad tacks on the west.
